	Hekayet Midan (the story of a square) re-staged Responding to growing calls, the play Hekayet Midan (the story of a square) will be re-staged at the Saad Zaghloul Cultural Centre at Beit ul-Omma (the house of the nation). The curtains will go up at 7.00 pm on Monday, May 23. The Head of the Sector of the Fine Art Dr. Ashraf Reda will sit in the audience. According to the Centre`s Director Tarek Ma`moun, the premiere of the play was a big success. Hekayet Midan is co-written by Sayed el-Abasiri and Amru Kabil and Yassir Abul-Enin. The music is composed by Mohamed Latif. The credits include the two singers Marawan Ezz and Nourhan el-Bughdadi; pantomime performer Mostafa Houzayen and executive director Mohamed Gasser. The play adopted by Amru Kabil traces the reasons behind the outbreak of the Youth Revolution of January 25, which overthrew the disgraced President Hosni Mubarak, who had ruled Egypt for 30 years. The Egyptians decided to revolt against Mubarak`s regime after their living standards and economic hardships became unbearable. The play also represents a vision of post-Revolution dream in Egypt.
