hers to be symbolically released in a certain direction through
an arrow, a line, or an extruded head.
In one of the artworks of the "Penetration of the Bar-Lev Line" col-
lection, the first block seemed cohesive and huge, and signs of a
quietly hidden connection had begun between it and the black fac-
ing block that was bundled by some white geometric lines, while
in the second artwork we see the emergence of a shape resem-
bling a plane that penetrates the other block and results in a sharp
light that overwhelms its blackness and fragments it. In the third
artwork, it appears that a twisted shape emerges to surround the
smaller black mass, and the fission appears clear and the greater
force is compressing it.
Nawar's sculpted blocks appear clearly surrounded by a complete
void, focusing the attention on the depicted event or the conflict
ring, while the performance levels vary between jet black and dark
gray blocks sculpted with details from the memory of war, and ar-
eas of delicate white that seemed like optical bridges that move us
from dark black to radiant white.
In the trilogy, The Will of a Homeland 2021, he presents in one of
the artworks a cohesive block symbolizing a cohesive homeland,
whose force is directed towards one of the ugly wrinkled black
faces that symbolize the forces of evil. In some places, the ends
of the block have turned into pointed teeth that break down to slay
the neck of this face. In another artwork we find this face fused
with its body like a black devil that is crushed under the weight of
an attacking plane designed by the artist that splits the devil's body
in half and leaves a trail of smoke that extends under the body,
while in the third artwork we find the same mass and it seemed
more cohesive and stronger, under which a group of arc bodies
